Llavanes, Tagala lead Filam Press Club of NY

New York - The Filipino American Press Club of New York has elected Dave Llavanes Jr. as president and Don Tagala as vice president for 2026 and 2027.

Also elected on May 9, 2026 were Lindy Rosales, as secretary, and Marilyn Abalos, treasurer.

Llavanes is the founder of The Filipino Reporters and lead reporter for GMA News. Tagala is a reporter for the Bilyonaryo News Channel.

The new Board of Directors is composed of Marivir Montebon (Awesome Media, Ltd.), Ricky Rillera (Philippine Business Mirror), Myrna Gutierrez (Who’s Who Magazine), Troi Santos (Philippine Business Mirror), and former president Momar Visaya (Asian Journal).

The FAPCNY is the only Filipino American press club in the East Coast founded in 2011.#
